Since 2025, Felizitas Zechmeister has developed an independent position in abstract and material-oriented painting. Her work explores colour, surface, materiality, light and perception. The current body of work comprises five interconnected series: Variations in Blue, Earth and Oil Paint, Monochrome Painting, Dark Material Painting, and Dark Material Painting – Light and Reflection.
